JAFSA会員大学・教育機関の皆様へ
この度JAFSAは「在日オーストラリア大使館商務部」「オーストラリア クィーンズランド(QLD)州政府 駐日事務所」「オーストラリア ビクトリア(VIC)州政府 東京オフィス」(いずれもJAFSA団体正会員)と共催で、標記ウェビナーを開催致します。
長引くコロナ禍は、留学の現場にも多大な影響を及ぼしています。
大学の国際部署の方々にとって、国内・国外を問わず、他大学の「オンライン授業の実施状況」「母国に帰国せず滞在を続けている留学生に対するサポート状況」「2021年春学期のような近い未来に、留学生の受け入れ・送り出しを再開するかどうかの見通し」などについて、知りたいことが山積しているのではないかと思います。
その中で、世界的に見ても比較的早期にコロナ感染を抑え込めているオーストラリアの大学の現場がどうなっているのか、オーストラリアQLD州・VIC州の大学よりパネリストをお招きし、JAFSA会員大学の方々と討議のできる場を設けることにいたしました。
JAFSA役員の中からも同様にパネリストを選出して登壇し、日豪双方の視点で、留学をめぐる大学の現場の動向を比較・討議したいと思います。
当日は、オンラインで日豪双方をリアルタイムで繋げて実施致します。
パネリスト以外のオーストラリアの大学・教育機関の方々にもオーディエンスとしてご参加いただき、皆様から出る質問を取り上げながら討議を深めたいと思います。
またパネル・ディスカッションの前に、「在日オーストラリア大使館商務部」よりコロナ禍の中での「オーストラリア留学に関する現況」をお話しいただきます。最新情報を入手された上でパネル・ディスカッションにご参加いただくと、より討議に対する理解が深められることと思います。
今回のウェビナーは「日豪の大学間交流会」の第1回としています。
今回皆様から出てくる質問やご意見に応じて、今後同様のウェビナーや、もしくは日豪大学同士の個別相談会(バーチャル・フェア)といった、オンラインイベントをシリーズ化して実施していく所存です。
